14th July Chicago Chicago it's my kinda town

Guess where we've just landed - yes - Chicago. The flight was pretty uneventful except Paulines ticket was for first class - very posh - and she decided she really couldn't sit with us two scum so she went into the posho's lounge and was thrown out - although she had a first class ticket it didn't get her access tot he free food, drinka nd men she had hopped for. Serves her right thinking she is too good for us.

Another Taxi driver another nutter - so we thought as he totally tried to rip us off. He didn't put the meter on and tried to tell us it was $19 each we argued and he agreed $15 each which was still crap  cos on the meter it would only have been $35 in total. He did redeeme himself as he thought I was royalty - he asked if I was a Princess of Switzerland - wrong country correct title. Pauline and Mairi were none too pleased as he thought they were my servants. He also gave us his business card cos he only Taxis sometimes and hopped to met us in the nite club Excilibur - we hopped not.

The rooms OK got everything we need and is right downtown so great. The bill print out they gave me had my name as Flores - now Marir and Pauline are calling Princess Flores - I always knew my true identity would come out sometime.

Mairi was knackered so stayed in leaving Pauline and I to hit the town. The first bar we entered had lots of camera crews outside it - mys have known Princess Flores was in town I thought. We went to the bar upstairs which was a little strange. All the women were expensively dressed (by that I mean mutton dressed up as lamb in outrageously expensive horrid gear) and more bling on than most rappers. All the men were smoking large cigrs which they has purchased from the Cigar Bar - eh!

A big guy was getting lots of attention - autograph hunters and photo opertunities - couldn't decide if he was a player for the Chicago Cubs (baseball) or the Bears (American Football) who ever he was (we didn't want to ask and look stupid) everybody was well impressed.

The next guy was full of even more wierdo's the bar made took her tips as shots of tequila - she didn't flintch an inch on downing each. Could've showed Scots a few things about drinking. Pauline got unwantenly chatted up by some Bulgarian guy. We eat our pizza quickly and the piece we left the bar made offered to the rest of the bar!

The next few pubs were all full of old men with wedding rings on with young women - not their wifes I thought - away on business probably - can't be much talent in Chicago if this is what the younger women have to sink to.
