29th July - And so to Seattle

Ferrying down to Seattle past the Juan de Fuca straights - who said I wouldn't learn anything on this trip. The windows on the boat were very dirty obscuring the view and it was way too cold on the deck to sit out so unfortunately no scenic adventure to tell. The views into Seattle of downtown and the space needle were great so not all lost. Were having a well deserved night in, cos we've been on the go for a month and haven't stayed in yet - yes folks 1 full calendar month has elapsed since we left old blighty. Thats one twelvth of our journey already gone - hardly seems like yesterday.
Highlights so far have to be Chicago the City and the Blues Club (also in Chicago). New York was ofcourse fab but the rest needs to buck itselfs up and start offering a lot more for two single Scottish women.
